get in touchStudio Jim was tasked with creating a brand new identity for The Three Tuns - a much-loved Sheffield pub with deep historical roots.

The brief: bring this heritage venue into the 21st century, while staying true to its character. A considered refresh to help the pub evolve with a growing cultural shift in how people socialise.



The new brand is proudly independent and unmistakably Sheffield - blending traditional pub charm with bold, youthful energy.



It’s designed to welcome guests with colour, warmth and culture, reflecting The Three Tuns’ new role as a vibrant social and creative hub in the city centre. From signage to socials, every touchpoint was crafted to feel familiar, but fresh.


The identity has been designed as a flexible system, built from a layered combination of typography, colour and graphic elements. This allows the brand to shift and adapt across different touchpoints — from posters and social content to in-venue graphics — responding to the tone of each event while remaining recognisably Three Tuns. The result is a brand that feels consistent but never static, keeping things fresh, relevant and visually engaging over time.
